Indiana Theatres

Carmel, Indiana Theatre: This upscale, upbeat community boasts several venues for live theatre. Chief among them are the new Carmel Community Playhouse in the Clay Terrace Mall and the new Center for Performing Arts in downtown Carmel at the Carmel City Center.
Fishers, Indiana Theatre: In Fishers, The Artists’ Studio is the place to go for training and presentations of all kinds of live performance art and its instruction, from theatre to dance to music.
Greenfield, Indiana Theatre: The place for theatre in Greenfield and thereabouts is the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts. The nifty Art Deco look of this venue comes from the former Village Theater Cinema, whose space the Ricks Centre took over and made their own.
Indianapolis, Indiana Theatre: Theatres and theatrical performing arts venues in Indianapolis are legendary and abundant. Indianapolis theatre represents all levels of stage art, from slick professional musical productions to teaching venues for children. Pictured here is the interior of the venerable Atheneum Theatre in downtown Indianapolis.
Lebanon, Indiana Theatre: The historic Milk Building is perhaps Lebanon’s major landmark. It is also, somewhat surprisingly, the site of some very fine live comic theatrical productions.
Shelbyville, Indiana Theatre: Just on the outskirts of Shelbyville is a favorite live entertainment venue of Hoosier theatre-lovers, the Boggstown Cabaret Supper Club. Shelbyville is also host to the Strand Theatre, where the Shelby County Players perform.
