  Avon SportsAvon, Indiana is teeming with options for amateur sports enthusiasts. The Avon Softball Park hosts numerous adult slow-pitch softball leagues, the Fusion Soccer Academy allows kids of all ages and level of competition can learn the intricacies of the world’s most popular game, and the Monster Mini Golf complex can be a fun way to spend an afternoon.
  Beech Grove Sports – True to the long tradition of Indiana‘s obsession with basketball, the Beech Grove Hornets have taken home their fair share of trophies in basketball competitions, and the city has football, tennis, baseball and all the other usual athletic groups. Wrestling, however, is the big thing in Beech Grove sports, reaping the most awards.
  Brownsburg Sports – Luckily for Brownsburg’s residents, there’s the athletics programs at Brownsburg High School; In the fall, students at Brownsburg High School can take part in football, tennis, soccer, golf, cross country, cheerleading, and volleyball; once the snow starts falling, basketball, wrestling, and swimming open up, and baseball, track and softball begin in spring.
  Carmel Sports – Whether you’re looking to indulge in Carmel sports full time or just for an afternoon of recreational fun, Carmel has something for everyone. Popular in the winter, but open year round, the Carmel Ice Skadium has regulation hockey rinks, and golf enthusiasts can enjoy the back 9 at Brookshire Golf Club.
  Danville SportsDanville, Indiana is not the home of any major sports teams. There are no professional teams here, no minor league teams, and the town only sponsors one other league, an amateur softball league held in a Danville park. Luckily, however, Danville sports enthusiasts live just twenty miles away from one of the greatest sports communities in the world: Indianapolis.
  Fishers Sports – The Fishers Parks and Recreation Department has the town covered as far as Fishers sports are concerned. Tops on the list is S.P.O.R.T.S. at Billericay Park. It is the place to go for baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, volleyball, track and even cheerleading in Fishers, Indiana.
  Greenfield Sports – For Greenfield sports, residents rely on Greenfield-Central High School to live out all their sporting needs. This pillar of Greenfield education has twelve different varsity sports, including football, baseball, cross country, and wrestling.
  Greenwood Sports – Sports and recreation in Greenwood, Indiana are jogging along with the population increase, keeping pace. An interesting effort recently started by Greenwood‘s mayor, working in conjunction with the Greenwood Parks and Recreation Department, is called the Commit to Be Fit Program.
 

Indianapolis Sports – Sports in the Circle City enjoy a rich and storied history, so much so that they are embedded in the culture of Indianapolis. The fast cars of the Indianapolis 500, the dynasty of the Indianapolis Colts, the historical Hoosier past time of the Indiana Pacers, and the myriad of other sports teams, professional and otherwise, make up the fabric of Indianapolis sports.

  Lawrence Sports – If you’re a fan of high school athletics, Lawrence, Indiana boasts two of the more tradition-rich high school sports programs in the Hoosier State: Lawrence North High School and Lawrence Central High School. Each of these Lawrence schools features top-notch facilities and venues for their student athletes to perform and train in.
  Noblesville SportsNoblesville, Indiana offers more than 10 courses for golfers to choose between; if golf’s not your exclusive game, The Hamilton County Sports Complex features leagues in basketball, hockey, flag football, soccer and golf. Instructional activities include everything from the popular (soccer, basketball, karate, gymnastics etc), to the obscure (parkour and zumba).
  Plainfield Sports – Residents of Plainfield are proud of their resident Plainfield sports teams, the Plainfield High School Quakers. This center of Plainfield education fields four athletic teams in addition to a marching band and a choir ensemble. Students at Plainfield High School can play football, run track, participate in swimming and diving, or take part in that old Hoosier classic, basketball.
  Shelbyville Sports – For live, local Shelbyville sports, residents rely on the Shelbyville education system: Shelbyville High School allows residents of the community to experience the blood, sweat, and tears of Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) competition. The Shelbyville High School Golden Bears compete in thirteen different sports spread throughout the fall, winter, and spring trimesters.
  Speedway Sports – In Speedway, racing is paramount, ranking even above basketball and football in a metropolis where the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts are virtually worshiped as icons. The home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Speedway, Indiana derives its name, history, and economy from the spectacle of the Indianapolis 500.
  Westfield Sports – One of the biggest draws for sports in Westfield is the Indiana Soccer Academy, which keeps soccer players and fans coming from miles around, all year round. Other sports facilities in Westfield include the Roundtripper Academy, Cheer World of Indiana, and the Westfield parks system.
  Zionsville Sports – Zionsville has plenty of opportunities for its residents to get out and about in the sporting world. The Zionsville Sports Alliance and Zionsville Little League help Zionsville children get on the field with organized leagues in everything from lacrosse to soccer.
