A big Fishers event that takes place every year in Fishers, Indiana and draws folks from miles around is the Fishers Freedom Festival. This celebration of independence has been going strong in this Indianapolis suburb for more than two decades. The festival stretches across a two-day weekend in summer, includes activities that rival any Indianapolis festival, and is held at the beautiful Roy Holland Memorial Park, one of the best parks in the Fishers parks system.

Another perennial crowd-pleaser occurs in summer as well. The Fishers Summer Concert Series, which takes place behind town hall, on the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater stage in downtown Fishers. This makes for a great evening under the stars with friends!
